...Hunger is a reality in Virginia, and across America. People are in need. Most often hunger affects our elderly and our children. Your financial support will make a difference. Many of the organizations receiving the venison are foodbanks. These nonprofits serve as warehouses for their member agencies. The foodbanks to which Hunters for the Hungry distributes have over 3,500 member nonprofit groups which supply the food available to the needy in their communities and surrounding areas. The venison is distributed as close to where it is donated as possible. To date, Hunters for the Hungry has been unable to meet all the requests to provide venison to Virginia's hungry.
