The Hunters for the Hungry 16th Annual David H. Horne Memorial Golf Tournament was held Wednesday October 4, 2017 at London Downs Golf Course in Forest, Virginia. This event is held each year in memory of the program founder David H. Horne and is a great opportunity to promote awareness about the program and its feeding efforts while raising funds for processing donated venison!

This year’s tournament was comprised of 22 teams and was another wonderful success raising $20,518.00 These dollars will allow the program to process and distribute 92,331 quarter pound servings of venison to those in need all across Virginia this fall and winter. To date this wonderful event has continued to raise awareness about our feeding program but has also raised a total of $340,950.00 which has allowed us to process and distribute 1,534,275 quarter-pound servings of high protein low fat venison to men, women, and children throughout Virginia.
